RoseAnn, founder of The Prana Lab, began her wellness journey as a teen and was quickly awakened to the incredible physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga and energetic healing.
Her deep love of yoga inspired her to become a full time teacher. She is a certified Hatha, Vinyasa, Sampoorna, Childrens and PreNatal Yoga Instructor and has also studied the Ashtanga, Kripalu and Iyengar Yoga lineages.
Her exploration deeper into more than just the physicality of yoga created a deeper connection with herself. Hence, the path towards alternative healing was discovered. Over time she has fine tuned her intuition and become a Thai Yoga Body Worker, gifted Reiki Master Teacher, Acutonics Practitioner and Energy healer.
RoseAnn uses her 20+ years of experience and diverse systems of healing to benefit all, personally and in the classroom. Her compassion and love of her life’s calling comes through in her sincere touch and words. She creates and nurtures a safe environment to experience the comfort and freedom to heal and grow.
In 2010 she suffered a fall and severely broke her back. Within months of the accident, she was back to teaching yoga, although in a body brace. Her passion for her life's work would be her tool for healing. After 9 months in a brace where most would have had rods put in their back and stayed far away from the mat, she found a way to let yoga guide her to healing both physically and mentally. It was not an easy road and is an ongoing part of her dailiy life. She is grateful for the experience as it has taught her empathy and compassion for those in pain whether it be acute and temporary or chronic as well as educated her on the most common ailment in our society back pain.
RoseAnn has worked extensively with professional athletes, students with special needs and of all ages. She held a position on staff at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital Rehabilitation Department utilizing her skills in yoga and pilates to help patients progress in their recovery to ease their transition back into daily life routines.
She has created a special program of yoga “ Prana Prescriptions” (private sessions) which include a series of personalized movements on DVD coupled with soothing meditation CDs targeting the students’ specific needs and conducts a variety of classes, workshops, retreats and certifications both domestically and internationally. Recognized and referred locally by many Orthopedic Doctors, Physical Therapists and Neurologists as one of the best yoga teachers in Broward to help those in pain, with limitations and injuries find ways to enjoy their bodies and lives again, she makes yoga work for them, her Prana Prescriptions have been life changing.
Cindy Ricardo is a LMHC, a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and a Registered Kripalu Yoga Instructor. Her love of yoga began over 22 years ago, when she attended her first class, at Yoga Source in Coral Springs. This introduction to yoga was the start of a lifelong love for this spiritual practice. However, her focus at the time was on completing a BA in Psychology and getting an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling. In 1999 she became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist.
Cindy's always had an interest in healing approaches and how they help create balance between body, mind and heart and in 2008 she completed her 200 hour RYT training, under the guidance of Prem Shakti, becoming a Registered Kripalu Yoga teacher. Throughout the following years she attained certification to teach Gentle Vinyasa with Stephanie Keach of the Ashville Yoga Center, Yoga Nidra Meditation with Jennifer Reis of the Kripalu Center, and Restorative Yoga with Nancy MacDonald of Shanti Yoga in Tampa. In 2013, she became Certified in Meditation and Psychotherapy through the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy in Massachusetts.
For the past 22 years Yoga, Counseling and Mindfulness have played a pivotal role in her professional and personal life. She leads workshops and retreats for couples and individuals on topics related to Self Care, Mindfulness/Loving Kindness Meditation and Relationships. She is passionate about introducing the spiritual, gentle and compassionate style of Kripalu Yoga, Mindfulness and Loving Kindness to both private practice and yoga clients. Cindy believes in the healing and transformational power of these practices as they have transformed her own personal and professional life.
In her classes, students are encouraged to let go of stress by bringing awareness to breath, physical sensations, emotions and the vibrant energy within.

Claudia Rotman has been offering her gifts in the Spirit of service in the field of energetic healing and balancing for over 5 years . Offering clients sessions as a practitioner, private spiritual coach and group workshop leader, Claudia helps people transform their lives, providing practical and fascinating information that can be put to immediate daily use. A Reiki master since 2008, she is also certified in the area of Subconscious Restructuring, Angel Cards Readings and Akashic Records. Currently Claudia offers Reiki Circles and private Reiki sessions at aLaya Spa, located within the Bonaventure Resort in Weston, Florida.
As a woman in her mid-twenties, Claudia began looking for answers to issues in her own personal life, which began her healing journey, and launched her continuing journey to help others based on her experiences. In 2007 she discovered Reiki, and decided to learn all three Levels (Level 1, Level 2, and Mastership). She did not know at the time that Reiki would lead her to discover her passion for the studies of human behavior, past lives, energy healing (just to mention a few!) and most importantly the revelation of her mission: to share this wealth of knowledge with others, especially young women starting their own journeys. Claudia learned a lot about herself, her fears, her core strengths and how those impacted everyone around her. She started to understand that in order to transform ourselves, we need to understand our natural patterns and use our past experiences as tools for growth and our own transformations. She is often heard repeating this truth: "You can use this knowledge to allow life to unfold as it's meant to."
Always being very active in sports and in the outdoors while growing up in Alaska, David was never really into group, instructor led classes,that is until his wonderful wife finally convinced him to take a yoga class. At the end of his first yoga class, David was a big sweaty mess of a person on the mat; tired, spent and challenged but clear, open, aware and relaxed all at the same time. Needless to say, he got hooked into yoga from the very start! After a few years of taking as much yoga as he could, experiencing many different teachers, exploring different styles and developing a deeper interest for yoga, David took the next step along his journey and received his RYT200 hour instructor certification in Hatha yoga from The Prana Lab.
During the day, David is a design engineer where details are what distinguish good designs from great designs. Being detailed orientated is a characteristic that David brings over to his yoga teachings. David’s classes focus on structure and alignment and breath awareness while emphasizing mindful and purposeful movement and how your breath facilitates that movement. Each of David’s classes is unique in both content and flow. David’s classes encourage students to explore their own edge mindfully and with awareness, allowing students to always grow and strengthen their yoga practice in a safe environment.
Joanne started her discovery of the power of yoga over 15 years ago. Her first exposure was the consistency of Bikram’s heated sequence of 26 postures. As she continued on the path, she increased the depth of her practice by embracing various other styles; including hatha, alignment and restorative disciplines. Each has contributed in their own way to her and her family’s mental, spiritual and physical health.
She used yoga to enhance her recovery from cancer treatments, a variety of surgical interventions and her husband’s recovery from spinal surgery. Their commitment to regular practice is a means to continued healing and pain prevention.
Educated as a pharmacist, Joanne appreciates how yoga can complement traditional Western medicine. She completed her 200 hour RYT training here at the Prana Lab and is currently enrolled in the 300 hour program. She obtained certification in Tari Prinster’s y4c method of yoga for cancer at the Kripalu Institute and will be returning to Kripalu for a certification in restorative yoga.
She is very excited to guide others in their own discovery of yoga. Please join her on the mat for a gentle class exploring flexibility, balance, strength and relaxation. The use of props allows her to customize the poses for the maximum benefit and safety of each student.
Laura grew up in Clearwater, Florida and has a Master of Science degree in Criminal Forensic Studies with a focus in Human Identity and Trauma Analysis and a specialization in Human Osteology/Forensic Anthropology. Laura has been working in the forensic science field since 2010 and is a Certified Crime Scene Investigator (CCSI) providing her with an extensive knowledge of human anatomy and an understanding of human variation and injury.
Laura found yoga during the pursuit of her master’s degree in 2008 as a means of strength building and stress relief. As her practice grew, she learned the true healing and growth that happens on the mat and obtained her 200 RYT Yoga Alliance Certification from The Prana Lab Institute. She is trained in SUP (Stand-Up Paddle board) Yoga. Her extensive background in anatomy and in the human body has created an ideal foundation for the multi-level format of her classes.

Nicole, a student at Broward College, found yoga in 2015 and fell in love with it her first class. Yoga has helped her find her purpose in life which is to help people. Nicole obtained her Hatha 200 RYT certification from the Prana Lab in Weston, Florida.
She teaches from a place of love and her goal is to help her students feel happy and comfortable.
She left her profession as an Architectural Designer to journey inward. She is a Kundalini Yoga Instructor for the past 7 years, assisting in the training of the next graduating class of Kundalini Instructors for 2016/17. Pi`ilani is an ordained Bachelor of Divinity, Certified Master Hypnotist through the NGH, trained in Regression and 5 Path Hypnosis, EFT, Theta Healing.
Pi`ilani also studied in Hawaii with master teachers (Kumus & Kahunas) of Huna Kane, Lomilomi, and Ka Hana Pono. She has been practicing the Healing Arts, Hypnosis-Regression Work and Yoga for over 20 years. Rosalind (Roz) was born and raised in England, where there is no NON GMO’s and limited food coloring and preservatives. Roz grew up eating home cooked meals, and never drinking sodas. After coming to the USA in 1998. Roz noticed a huge difference in the foods that were put on the plates here, compared to back in England. This sparked Roz’s growing interest in holistic nutrition and the power of food we put in our bodies. The correction between disease and diet is greater than you think. “Given a chance the body can heal itself”. In 2008 Roz decided to go back to school and enrolled with ISSA and received a certification in Performance Nutrition, then in 2010 Roz enrolled at The Institute of Integrated Nutrition IIN and become a Certified Health and Nutrition Coach.
Her passion continued growing for healing the body with food, an anti inflammatory lifestyle to be exact. Roz then enrolled with Ecornell and completed their Plant-Based Nutrition realizing that an anti inflammatory lifestyle thrives in a Plant Based Lifestyle. Roz is also a member of AADP American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Roz’s mission is to empower everyone to follow an anti-inflammatory lifestyle (inflammation breeds disease) pay it forward gain the power and the knowledge to take control of your health today, before disease strikes. It really is that easy.
Sherrie's fitness/wellness journey began as a nationally ranked tennis player over 30 years ago. That ultimately evolved into a passion for educating and inspiring others in the practice of whole mind and body transformation. Currently, this mother of 3, is teaching private Reformer Pilates and Yoga in addition to pursuing her RYS 300.
After practicing and teaching most every form of fitness, Sherrie discovered Yoga. Yoga has been a life changing experience where growth is unlimited. Her passion for sharing Yoga with EVERYONE shows through. Working with the breath, alignment, strength, flexibility and finding openness allows her students to find space, feel more alive, energized, calm and serene!

Tamar began her yoga journey 17 years ago in Los Angeles with the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, a dynamic practice rooted in the universal principles of alignment and in Tantric philosophy. It was a love at first breath.
She completed her first teacher training in Anusara Yoga in 2002 with Naime Jezzney and Sue Elkind and went on to study with other master teachers such as Desiree Rumbaugh, Ross Rayburn and BJ Galvan in Israel, Costa Rica and Europe as well as taking classes and workshops with senior Iyengar teachers in Israel and one of Iyengar's students, Sharat Arora of the Himalayan Iyengar Yoga Center in Dharamsala.
Tamar holds a certification in pre and post-natal Yoga from the Israeli Yoga Teachers' Association as well as an RYT 200 certification from TPL and a Yoga Alliance membership. Tamar is also a professional translator with a background in film and theater.
Having danced the sacred dance of yoga in so many styles of Hatha Yoga, and honoring them all, Tamar now teaches Yin Yoga, Yoga Alignment and Flow classes. She is grateful for her family - Shai, Shira, Ilan and Luna the dog for their endless support.
